Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to go to my hearing? / Can I appear virtually?

In Indiana, you generally must appear for all hearings. However, some counties do not require you to appear for pre-trial conferences, or you may appear virtually with consent from the court. Be sure to ask your attorney at least a week in advance whether or not you need to appear in person.

What type of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, credit card, Zelle, PayPal, cashier's checks, and money orders. I do not accept personal checks. Please pay one week before your next hearing.
Do I qualify for specialized driving privileges?

You may qualify for driving privileges before sentencing at some stages but not others. If you refused to participate in Standard Field Sobriety Tests (SFST), you will most likely not qualify for specialized driving privileges. Additionally, if you have a previous suspension that remains unresolved, you will need to resolve those issues before you qualify. Be sure to ask your attorney about any additional concerns during your consultation.
